SAPS and CPF work together

Monteiro said the CPF dedicated all its energies to keeping all families safe at all times.

MOFFAT View Community Policing Forum executives wish all their patrollers and the entire community a safe and merry festive season.

CPF PRO Paulo Monteiro said the CPF dedicate their energies to keeping all families safe at all times.

He asked community members to note that the CPFs always pride themselves on being apolitical. Monteiro said donations made to CPFs are always handed to the CPF treasurer who provides a receipt. He said donations can never be made to individuals alone but to the entire organisation.

“The CPF appreciates and thanks all organisations and individuals for donating to its structure as we cannot operate without such.” He asked members of the public, who wanted to contribute to the CPFs well-being, to assist in keeping the CPF corrupt free.

Monteiro lauded all members who assisted in stop-and-search visibility operations. “From Capt Baloyi of the Moffat View SAPS and head patroller of the CPF Isaac Davis, we say thank you.”

He further advised the public against public drinking. “Let’s keep communities safe.”

A huge welcome was extended to the following people for joining the Moffat View policing community: Colonel Lloyd on his appointment to Moffat View station commander, and new head of communications for Moffat View SAPS, Capt Jeff Phora.

Monteiro said patrols will be intensified and drug dealers will have no place to hide.

He elaborated that the CPF office is located at the back of the charge office of the Moffat View Police Station and is open from 12 noon to 5pm Monday to Friday.
