The return of WWE action

The weekend not only saw the return of fans to WWE but the return of an all-time fan favourite, John Cena.

Cena appeared on July 18 ‘Money in the Bank’ where he categorically announced that he is back and, in the process, appeared to lay down a challenge to current WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.

“Tonight I just wanted to come out here and let Roman Reigns know that I am back and I certainly wanted to come out here and let all of you know that I am back!” said Cena.

Cena’s return to where it all began for him comes after he concluded shooting for his big summer movie roles, F9 and Suicide Squad. His appearance also formed a part of a big weekend for WWE, which saw two sold-out arena shows marking the return of the WWE Universe for the first time in over a year.

With the return of the fans and local favourite John Cena, WWE is back to the spectacle South African fans know and love.
