Hoërskool President High School recently hosted its Inter-High 2025, bringing together athletes and supporters from Bracken and Randfontein high schools and Hoërskool President.
This year’s event marked principal Quentin de Lange’s first Inter-High as the newly appointed principal of Hoërskool President.

A standout moment was his grand entrance. In line with this year’s FireFighters theme, the principal arrived in a fire truck – acknowledging his past as a firefighter before transitioning into education.
The schools cheered when the fire truck, accompanied by the SA Rangers, made its way onto the sports field. The Kibler Park Fire Station was thanked for making this moment possible.

For the participating schools, these events were a platform for learners to showcase their talents and build memories.
While Hoërskool President performed well in athletics, Randfontein High School earned the coveted spirit cup, thanks to their energy and creative cheers.
“The Inter-High 2025 was a phenomenal experience, and I am incredibly proud of our athletes, supporters and staff for their dedication and enthusiasm,” said De Lange.
“These events are the heartbeat of our school spirit, giving our learners a chance to shine on and off the field. It was an honour to see our learners’ passion and the vibrant energy of our school.
“A special thanks to the Kibler Park Fire Station and the SA Rangers for their support in making my entrance such a memorable and exciting moment,” added the principal.
