“I am doing comedy to show the youngsters that you can do everything you want in life. I have been doing comedy for six months and now I have been nominated – that shows I am a real deal. If I win this category it will mean the world to me and will add meaning to the comedy circles,” said Abuti Lolo who is doing electrical engineering.

Kwanda said, “I am funny and unique and my advantage is that I do comedy in different languages. Winning this award will mean that I have followers and they like what I do. Though I’m doing masters in population studies and statistics I am still funny on stage.”

To further assist these five nominees to get more votes, Hauwei Mobile South Africa will be giving them each a Huawei P20 Pro smartphone and a course on how to use the device for the best results.
