15 Blue Pea Country Market is open at Rietvlei Zoo Farm every Saturday from 8am to 1pm. Entrance to the market is free. Come and support local farmers, artists, bakers, business owners and chefs, to name a few. Products on offer are raw honey, free-range chicken and eggs, fresh fruit and veggies, organic fertiliser (worm tea), biltong, nuts, yoghurt, olives, feta cheese, pet food and treats, arts and crafts, delicious food stalls, sauces and condiments, baked goods, health and wellness products and various products from local businesses. 15 Stained glass workshop in the tranquil settings of Henley on Klip. Workshops last about three to four hours and you will complete a sun catcher which is yours to keep. All tools and materials will be provided as well as instruction and possibly a cup of tea or coffee if you can drag yourself away from your project. The workshops are aimed at people who want to try their hand at stained glass before committing to buying equipment and glass, and to those who only want a little fun. Each workshop takes a minimum of three people and a maximum of six. 16 Join a 4km guided walk (takes three hours) on February 16 on Melville Koppies and learn about who used to live there. 7 Stepping Stone Hospice’s next “Movie under the Stars” evening will see the ever popular 2019 The Lion King as the main attraction. Book your ticket at R100 per person with children under the age of six entering free. The movie night takes place from 5pm at Reading Country Club, 40 Fore Street, New Redruth.
