Kickstart 2022 with a bang with live theatre in the outdoors!
The power punch of a musical, Music of the Night – one composer, many lyricists, will take place from March 17 to 20 at The Dome, on the grounds of the National School of Arts (NSA).
A glorious evening of show tunes ranging from Joseph and the amazing technicolour dream coat to Cinderella, over 30 songs from 50 years of the great songwriters of the last 55 years who have teamed up with living legend Andrew Lloyd Webber.
This is not a tribute show but rather a musical anthology of 55 years of words and music from the legendary lyricists, including Sir Tim Rice, Don Black, Sir Richard Stilgoe, Charles Hart, Glenn Slater and others who have penned a veritable treasure-chest of hits we have grown to love over the years.
This one composer, Lloyd-Webber, with his many lyricists, have created the soundtrack of the musical theatre genre of more than a half a century, all spectacularly celebrated in Music of The Night.
The show is produced by Colin Law for Ticket to The Moon Management

Instantly recognisable numbers will captivate the audience with songs from hit shows including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard and other rarely unearthed surprises to keep everyone thoroughly entertained.
The stellar cast setting the stage alight will be stage and screen star Craig Urbani (Rock of Ages, The Rocky Horror Show, Legacy), Stephanie Baartman (Getroud Met Rugby, Supersterre), Carly Graeme (Starlight Express, The Boys in the Photograph) and introducing the internet sensation, father-and-daughter duo Adrian and Emma-Jean Galliard.
Make sure to bring your cushion for this 90 minute show which is suitable for all ages.
Performances will be Thursday to Saturday starting at 19:00 and on Sunday at 16:00.
Tickets cost R250 per person and bookings can be made through Computicket.

Take note:
• Due to the unprecedented and unexpectedly high levels of rain that have continued to fall in Johannesburg since December, with seemingly no end in sight, producer Colin Law has needed to take the difficult decision to move the Johannesburg dates to March for Music of the Night.
• The new season will still be staged at The Dome, situated on the grounds of the National School of Arts (NSA) as originally planned. The new Johannesburg dates will be March 17 to 20.

• A “rain day” will be scheduled for March 21 should inclement weather interrupt any of the Johannesburg dates.
• Patrons who already have tickets booked for the January/February dates for The Dome in Johannesburg will be contacted directly by Computicket for arrangements to be made to move their booking or attain a refund.
For any queries, you’re welcome to email management@ttttm.co.za
• The producers apologise for any inconvenience caused, but this decision has needed to be made in the best interest of comfort for both the cast and audiences attending the performances.
• All Covid-19 protocols will be strictly observed, making a trip to The Dome a stress-free experience.
