Death is just the beginning in the suspense thriller, A Haunting In Venice (16 HLV), at Nu Metro The Glen from this Friday, 15 September 2023.
In this sequel to Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile, well-known Belgian sleuth, Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) – now retired and living in his own exile – reluctantly attends a seance at a haunted palazzo in Venice, Italy.
When one of the guests is murdered, it is up to the former detective to uncover the killer once again.
Nu Metro The Glen is proud to start screening the fun new, animated adventure, Headspace (PG), from this Friday.
Luma Animation, an animation studio based in Ferndale, Johannesburg, is responsible for this family-friendly adventure movie, which has been 10 years in the making with roughly 60 local animators, voice actors and artists involved in the exciting production.
The story follows the good aliens of the Andromeda Galactic Bureau of Investigation (AGBI) taking up residence inside the brain of 14-year-old Norman through their microscopic spaceship SPF50. They must join forces with Norman and his school friends to save Earth from the intergalactic villain, Zolthard, who has taken control of the headmistress.
For fans of intense horror, Talk To Me (16 HLV), is the third new movie release at The Glen’s Nu Metro cinemas this weekend.
When a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and opens the door to the spirit world forcing them to choose who to trust: the dead or the living. Once it takes hold, it refuses to let go.
