Bela-Bela Soccer Academy continues to inspire and produce quality players.
The latest gem is James Nkiya Ndlovu, who was this week taken through an assessment by Caf Champions League title-holders Mamelodi Sundowns FC.
He was scheduled to spend three days with the Pretoria-based club, starting from Monday 9 December.
According to Bela-Bela Soccer Academy sources, the 18-year-old central midfielder arrived at the Mamelodi Sundowns Chloorkop estate on Sunday 8 December.
The Pretoria team’s scouts identified Ndlovu during the Kay Motsepe Schools Cup at the provincial leg of the finals in Polokwane in recent weeks.
Another Bela-Bela Soccer Academy player, Joseph Sebola, has since signed on the dotted line for Giyani-based Ndengeza FC, which is campaigning in the third-tier ABC Motsepe League.
Itumeng Hlongwane, another product of the academy, has signed with the Kaiser Chiefs development structures.
