Ark Animal Centre: Wag your tails for the new year

CHARTWELL – In 2019, the Ark Animal Centre team hope to continue their work with dogs and puppies in need and also welcome the community to spend time at their shelter.

The Ark Animal Centre team writes to let residents know what will be happening at the centre in 2019:

Ark Animal Centre would like to wish the Fourways community a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

Our plans next year are to obviously continue rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing puppies and dogs, but we are also wanting to focus on beautifying our shelter and making it a more social environment to encourage the very special and healing human/animal bond.

We are finding lots of people want to come and sit and socialise at Ark because our energy is lovely and people leave feeling happier, so we want to promote the positivity and create an environment that helps grow that happiness.

Lastly, we are going to do some fundraising for the building of a new adult dog section which will house some of our adult dogs in a decent, homey environment.

Once again, we want to let our community know how super thankful we are for their support and for their belief in what we do. Hoping everyone has an amazing holiday so we can make an even bigger difference in 2019.
