Benefits to beauty
FOURWAYS - Bodi Sense Salon hosted their first winter warmer event at Clay Oven.
Dominated by women, the event was a platform to show new health and beauty treatments.
The evening was an opportunity for women to familiarise themselves with beauty ranges and their benefits.
Organisers Sarah Anne Mason-Gordon and Caroline Schwartz asked guests to create teams and join in a quiz.
Teams used their feminine know-how and beauty experiences to answer questions and in the process win different products and treatments from the salon.
Also speaking at the launch was Karen Bester, a former nurse, who touched on the fact that South Africa has a rainbow of different skin types, resulting in various treatments for many different skin types. She suggested people with skin issues can seek out a treatment programme by working in conjunction with a beauty therapist.
