Kickboxing their way to victory

FIGHTERS: Coach Bradley Sanders from Nova Mixed Martial Arts Academy Kempton Park; Shihan JD du Plessis, head of Nova; and coach Edward Davies, head coach of Kaizen Kickboxing Club at Norscot Manor Recreation Centre.

Davies participated alongside Nova Mixed Martial Arts Academy at the Great North One Kickboxing Tournament held on 14 March at the Tshwane Events Centre in Pretoria.

Davies owns and runs the D² Physical Expression Studio in Fourways. The studio offers a variety of social fitness lessons from dancing, ladies self-defence and kickboxing classes, to kaizen kickboxing classes for all ages.

Davies fought advanced semi-contact points division under 74kg, and received first place. Bradley Sanders from Kempton Park also fought in the K1 full contact under 79kg division and received second place.
