Biker dies after colliding with bus on Witkoppen Road
FOURWAYS - On the afternoon of 19 February a biker was killed after colliding with a bus at the corner of Witkoppen and Chris Oliet Street in Douglasdale.
According to Emer-G-Med, who responded to the scene, on arrival paramedics found that a motorbike had collided with the side of a bus. The bus had allegedly turned in front of the bike.
The biker was found approximately 100 meters away from his bike.
He had sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on scene.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate the events leading up to the collision.
