Hirsch’s Fourways recently hosted a Women’s Networking Function where guest speaker Evelyn Doubell, a certified financial planner, educated guests about financial wellness for women in business.
Doubell’s talk aimed to assist businesswomen in making the appropriate choices when it comes to managing their money.
“Women are generally less confident in making investment decisions and tend to err on the side of caution when selecting investment strategies. This means that while they do not lose money through market movements, they risk not keeping up with inflation and not accumulating enough capital at retirement age,” Doubell said.
Hirsch’s invites businesswomen who are interested in networking and meeting like-minded businesswomen to attend their regular monthly networking functions.
Each month, a scheduled guest speaker shares business knowledge with attendees. Those who attend are encouraged to bring pamphlets, business cards and banners, and are also welcome to display their products at the event.
