Ark receives donations
CHARTWELL – Two bakkie-loads of donations were given to the Ark Animal Centre recently thanks to the combined efforts of Sloppy Kisses Doggy Daycare and the Veloce Supercar Society.
Sloppy Kisses Doggy Daycare, Grooming and Deli, along with Veloce Supercar Society, held a private charity breakfast on 9 June in aid of the Ark Animal Centre non-profit puppy shelter specialising in puppies and pregnant moms.
The Veloce Supercar Society president, Ivan Smuts, and a number of individual members showed off their fabulous motor cars while they generously donated two bakkie loads filled with blankets, pellets, tinned food, cleaning products, buckets, hosepipes and more.
Belinda Munger and Jeanette Den from Ark Animal Centre were most grateful to Veloce for their kind generosity, and to Sloppy Kisses for hosting a fabulous breakfast.
Sloppy Kisses Doggy Daycare, Grooming and Deli recently opened in the Olivedale area.
