Douglasdale entrepreneur is on a mission to help young women

DAUGLASDALE– Hadebe said she is working towards establishing a career guidance and life skills centre for underprivileged young women.


As part of a Youth Month celebration, a Douglasdale professional makeup artist visited various schools around Johannesburg to motivate young women and teach them the importance of career choice.

Nthabeleng Hadebe, a local businesswoman and founder of Transform Your Life Foundation, embarked on a series of roadshows visiting schools in underprivileged communities to offer master classes and free makeup training to young women.

“A few years ago, I established Transform Your Life Foundation in order to empower young women to become self-confident and effect positive change in their communities. I am passionate about empowering young women and mentoring them to choose the right career paths,” she said.

“I am working towards establishing a career guidance and life skills centre for underprivileged young women from surrounding communities, particularly Diepsloot and Alexandra townships.

“I am passionate about empowering people especially those from disadvantaged communities.”
