Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Cedar Road at around 17:37 on February 6.

Reports indicate that a motorcycle and car were involved in a collision. “When medics from private emergency services arrived on scene, they found the patient – an adult male – had sustained serious injuries,” explained Netcare 911’s communication officer, Shawn Herbst.

“The patient was treated on scene by advanced life support paramedics before being airlifted by Netcare 911 helicopter to a specialist facility.”

All relevant authorities were on the scene.
