In a concerted effort to encourage members of the public to get vaccinated for Covid-19, Witkoppen Clinic, in partnership with Discovery Fund, introduced the #JabMeToo Project.
The initiative will encourage people to get jabbed by offering them a chance to win R4 500. Participants will be placed into a lucky draw to win the cash prize and the winner will be randomly selected on a monthly basis.
Business development manager at Witkoppen Clinic Dagmar Kahn said, “We hope that this project will raise awareness and educate the general public about Covid-19 and debunk cultural myths and misinformation surrounding the vaccination. The overarching aim is to encourage people, with a specific focus on youth, to vaccinate against Covid-19.
She added that the clinic had announced the two winners for the past two months.
