Chartwell youngsters ready to drive 20 000km to raise funds for youth empowerment
Trip participants said he was hoping to learn more about Africa and opportunities that the continent has to offer.
Land Rover drivers from Johannesburg gathered at Indaba Hotel to bid farewell to the team that will embark on a trip to Chartwell in the United Kingdom.
The trip is the brainchild of C2C Mission non-profit organisation which aims at raising funds to help the youth with skills development in and around Johannesburg.

Co-founder of the organisation Mark McClue said the group who would be driving in Land Rovers, would depart from Johannesburg on July 10 and return to South Africa in October.
The group of young people participating in the trip said they were excited and ready to learn more about Africa and Europe.
Dylan Eriksen-Miller (25) who will participate in the trip said, “I am very excited to be part of a trip which is aimed at improving the lives of young people. It will be my first time travelling 20 000km on road and I hope to learn something out of this historic trip.
“I hope that criss-crossing Africa from Johannesburg to Cairo in Egypt will help me with a better understanding of different cultures in Africa.”
