Daily Bread calls on local youngsters to join its newly established youth choir
McGinley said the youth choir will collaborate with a well-known South African artist to record the Daily Bread anthem and also take part in this year’s Mzansi Golden Voices.
The founder and chairperson of the Daily Bread non-profit organisation, Charmaine McGinley, has invited local youngsters to send videos of themselves singing in order to be part of their newly established youth choir.
McGinley said the youth choir will collaborate with a well-known South African artist to record the Daily Bread anthem and also take part in this year’s Mzansi Golden Voices.
She said Mzansi Golden Voices is music talent competition that strives to unearth young artists in different townships around Johannesburg.
“Our mandate and objective as Daily Bread non-profit organisation is to help empower and provide skills development to our local youth. This choir will help youngsters showcase their singing talent and expose them to the music industry.
“We call upon local youngsters who want to pursue career in music to send us a short video of them singing which will go to our judges who will select those who qualify to be part of the choir. We will then contact those whom our judges think have got what it takes to be part of our youth choir.”
