Motorist advised to drive cautiously on Hans Schoeman

Motorist are asked to be on the lookout when driving to Hans Schoeman Street.

Every weekend until June 11, the South African National Road Agency (SANRAL) will be repairing the Hans Schoeman bridge over the N1 in Malanshof, Randburg.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down and drive cautiously. From 6:00 on Saturday to 18:00 on Sunday, both east and westbound traffic between Silver Pine Avenue and Bank Road will be affected by limited lanes.

Ward 134 councillor Devon Steenkamp said that this project started when the truck carrying an object hit a chunk of cement off the top of the bridge traveling on the N1 South.

“SANRAL is repairing and repainting the bridge as well as – doing maintenance work. I do advise residents to slow down or even avoid this street if possible, for few weeks as construction workers do the repair.”
