Young women set to represent South Africa in Portugal
Crawford International Lonehill learner Jaime van den Bosch made her school proud after she was selected to represent the country abroad.
Crawford International Lonehill’s U20 ladies are ready for the World Aquatics Junior Women’s Water Pool Tournament this week.
The tournament will be taking place in Coimbra, Portugal, starting from September 8 to September 15. Jaime van den Bosch has been selected to represent South Africa. The learner admits that juggling academics and sports is not easy at all. However, she found a balance and always excelled in all spheres.
“We are exceptionally proud of our matriculant student. She will be representing our country. We look forward to seeing you play on the world stage” shared the school.
Van den Bosch is part of the 300 up-and-coming elite water pool players under the age of 20 who are also representing 20 junior national teams. She will compete for over nine days and the winner will take home the world crown.
