Spring ride brings Sunninghill families together
A new cycling shop has hosted a fun spring ride for the community of Sunninghill to enjoy as they also get fit.
On September 16, cycling shop Craft Cycles Sunninghill brought families together for a Spring Ride.
“We have been servicing the cycling community for 21 years under a different name till our move to 15 Tana Road Sunninghill,” shared the co-owner of the cycling shop, Anton Bosman.
“Our aim is to serve the community and also through cycling to try and bring the community closer together. The Spring Ride was brought together to do exactly that. We had families join us riding their bicycles through Sunninghill Gardens – moms, pops and the little ones.”
Bosman added they were also blessed to have Pieter du Preez, the para-cycling gold medallist at Tokyo, who joined the fun morning outing in Sunninghill.
“Everyone had an absolute blast, especially the youngsters. The ride started and finished at our store where all the riders were treated to bacon and egg rolls and some Biozest for the thirst. We are a real family-driven store that wants to give back to the community as much as we can.”
He concluded that the next ride would be a Halloween night ride and the date is still to be confirmed.
