Residents attended a community run for World Bone Marrow Day

Residents show up in numbers for a community run.

Residents of Fourways gathered in numbers for a community run held by Beaulieu College in aid of World Bone Marrow Day on September 16.

Families show their support and enjoy the colour run.

This was to raise funds and awareness to support the South African Bone Marrow Registry as well as the Mad2run Foundation.
The entrance fee included a T-shirt and colour powder which children and adults enjoyed splashing each other with.

Community members enjoy a day out in the sun splashing each other with colour powder.

“This made me happy because I saw a lot of our community members come together and have fun that also contributed to a good cause,” said the marketing manager of Beaulieu College, Tyebileyo Lesego.

Attendees of the community run.

“We would also love to thank Amy Naicker and San-Mari Pretorius for making this initiative possible. The turnout was phenomenal and our targets were reached. We would also love to thank the community for the amazing support.”

Not only did people come out to play but so did this colourful dog.

Community members were happy because they had fun and also because it was for a good cause.

After a fun day of colour splashing, youngsters gather to eat.
