Breaking bones is the name of the game

Fully recovered from injury, Mamelodi Warriors striker Given 'Bonecracker' Majuba steps into the cage at EFC 136 this August to snap a two-fight losing streak and prove he’s still one of the most dangerous men in the game.

Given ‘Bonecracker’ Majuba is back in the cage, and hungry for victory.

He will face Seth van Aswegen at EFC 136 on August 6 at the World Sports Betting EFC Arena in Fourways. The welterweight clash, set for a catchweight of 179 pounds, was originally scheduled for EFC 133 earlier this year, but was postponed after Majuba suffered a toe injury. The setback left the Mamelodi Warriors fighter frustrated, yet he says the extra time has only sharpened his focus. “I was really upset about the toe injury that forced the fight to be postponed. It came at a bad time, and I felt disappointed because I was ready to go. I’ve used every day since then to get stronger. Training is going really well. My body feels good, the sparring has been sharp, and I’m ready.”

Majuba holds a professional record of 3-7-0 with one no contest. Known for explosive early finishes, including a lightning-quick knockout on his EFC debut, the Bonecracker has built a reputation as a dangerous striker who never backs down. He will step into the cage against debutant Van Aswegen, determined to halt a two-fight losing streak. “I’ve been visualising this fight every day. I’m ready to show what I’ve been working on. The injury is behind me now, and I just want to get in there and perform.”

Majuba has also taken pride in the recent performances of his gym mates at Mamelodi Warriors Kickboxing Club. “I’m proud of the Mamelodi Warriors and the run of performances the team has been putting in. When one of us wins, we all win. That energy carries into my own training and pushes me harder every session.”

Majuba also reserved special thanks for his sponsor. “I want to thank Human Been for the continuous support. Without them, it would be much harder to focus fully on the fight game. Their backing means a lot to me and the team, and I appreciate everything they do.”

EFC 136 promises another night of high-stakes action under the bright lights of Paulshof. For Majuba, the night represents more than just another bout; it is a chance to rewrite recent results. “I’m ready. Training has been good, the team is behind me, and I can’t wait to get back in there and do what I do best.”
