Campaign helps children with cancer

FOURWAYS - Fourways Mall has successfully completed their Share Smiles fundraising campaign.

The campaign which was run last year aimed to raise enough money to grant Christmas wishes to four children living with cancer.

The children are Ayanda Milazi (4), Layla O’Neill (4), Tiffany Milan (2) and Vearin Naidoo (2).

Milazi and Naidoo were diagnosed with leukaemia while O’Neill has a rare form of cancer, ependymoma (Raising hope for Layla, Fourways Review, week ending 20 September 2013), and Tiffany was born with a primitive neuroectodermal tumour.

The month-long campaign helped raise R25 500 which Fourways Mall matched.
