Music for animals
KYALAMI - Midrand SPCA hosted a fun-filled music and dinner fundraiser to help the pets in its care.
Arlechino Restaurant in Kyalami was packed with patrons and animal lovers excited to enjoy an evening for the benefit of the animals.
The band Aible kept the attendees entertained with golden oldie hits. It was not long before the patrons were waving their hands in the air in time to the music.
Midrand SPCA chairperson, Brenda Lucas and inspector Theo Mokgatle represented the association and were pleased with the support of the community during
the evening.
They also appealed for pet blankets and food for the many animals at the SPCA, as they were in desperate need of supplies to keep the pets warm and hunger-free this winter.
Community members can drop off blankets and pet food at Midrand SPCA at 6 Dale Road, Glen Austin or pay into its bank account.
