Fantastic holiday fun in Fourways
FOURWAYS - The school holidays are here and Fourways has many 'funtastic' activities for the young ones.
Here are some suggestions to keep the kids happy – and busy – during their break from school.
- Montecasino Bird Gardens
Until 4 July, Montecasino Bird Gardens will entertain little animal-lovers (aged 6 to 11) with an action-packed holiday programme. For just R120 per child per day, the extraordinary holiday programme will run from 8.30am to 2.30pm daily. Children will be able to make new friends while participating in fun and interactive activities including workshops on snakes and being a Bush Ranger.

- Croc City
From holding a baby crocodile as well as a variety of exotic snakes and even a tarantula, Croc City will delight curious minds.
On display are some of South Africa’s most venomous snakes, including the black and green mamba and boomslang.
The guide will take kids on an informative reptilian tour.
Croc City also launched its FlyOVER where kids can zipline over three crocodile enclosures.

- Days of the Dinosaur: The Exhibition
Exhibition-goers can look forward to seeing a total of 45 animatronic dinosaurs, some grazing in the field, others feasting on their counterparts, as well as a 3-D movie, a fossil dig, photo opportunities and plenty of souvenirs.

- Mushroom Farm Park
A beautiful and secure public park, where more than 80 species of bird flock around the Mushroom Farm Dam. You can also get the most spectacular view of Sandton from the Hyundai balloon.
