Canine school helps rescue dogs

The training centre’s Chris Waldron explained that this year it celebrates its 25th Anniversary, so as part of the celebration they decided to give back to the many underprivileged dogs in the community. The centre chose Woodrock Animal Rescue as the beneficiary of this donation, and members of the centre collected bags of food, canned food, blankets, collars and leads, treats, toys and food bowls to donate to the shelter.

Woodrock is a non-profit, pro-life rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing facility which provides assistance to unfortunate, homeless, abused, neglected, stray, injured, ill, geriatric and unwanted animals.

The rescue centre provides food, necessary medical care such as inoculations, vaccinations, sterilisations and preventative medicine, including deworming and flea and tick dips.
