TAKE A STAND: The Magaliessig Action Forum encourages residents to take a stand if they are opposed to the building of the Makro superstore in Magaliessig.

The hearing will take place at City Life Church on Capricorn Road in Lonehill East on 17, 18 and 19 September. According to the Magaliessig Action Forum, the hearing proceedings will officially begin with a site inspection of the proposed Makro site that will start at 9:30 am on 17 September.

The site will be inspected by the Townships Board Committee, Makro personnel and advisers, the forum’s committee and advisers, and any other individuals who are registered as official objectors to the Makro appeal. The forum urged the Fourways community to attend the appeal hearing, even if only for part of the three-day proceedings. The forum also reminded the community that unless they were registered objectors, they may not actively participate in the hearing.
