Development planning session for Kyalami

KYALAMI - Development consultant and town planner Andrew Barker will facilitate a discussion on the development planning in the Kyalami area.

The discussion will be held at Cherry Country Lodge on 11 October. Barker has encouraged the community to attend the discussion to give their input on some of the issues in the area.

The discussion is organised by the Greater Kyalami Conservancy and participating residents associations. The community will be updated on the status of development in the area and will receive feedback from meetings held with the city council and the provincial roads department.

Residents and businesses from agricultural holdings in Kyalami, Glenferness, Beaulieu, Sun Valley, Treesbank, Bridle Park and Blue Hills will be addressed.

Additionally, Rosemary Sandison who has a property valuation and town planning background will give a presentation on her experience in Bishop’s Court Cape Town in the ’70s. Sandison has established one of the most unique and valuable property areas in Cape Town, and will explain how to combat urban development pressures.

All parties are welcome to attend.
