Paulshof to get a fright
PAULSHOF - Witches, ghouls and monsters will soon be walking the streets of Paulshof.
On 1 November, the Garden Village of the North, as Paulshof is known, will host its annual Halloween Community Event at the Brackenhill Park on Brackenhill Road.
Organised by the Paulshof Residents and Ratepayers Association, the event starts at 5pm and includes a chaperoned trick-or-treating walk around the Paulshof neighbourhood. Children as old as 16 can participate in the trick-or-treating which will take a ring route from Brackenhill Park, up Pongola Road, left on Umfolosi Road and back to the park.
The association encourages residents to decorate their gates from 4pm on the day and stock up on treats to hand out to trick-or-treaters. There will also be a best costume competition before the trick-or-treating with great prizes to be won. Residents can bring picnic baskets to the park and there will be beverages on sale.
