Local community pays their last respects to Nettleton
Douglasdale – Community members gathered to pay their last respects to Klarika 'Nomsa' Nettleton, a Bloubosrand community leader and a volunteer with the Ian Tarr Project (based at the Broadacres Shopping Centre SPAR), who recently passed away.
A heartfelt memorial service was held for her at Rhema Bible Church North in Randburg on 25 April.
Her passion for animals, children and those living in informal settlements was highlighted by those who loved her and the work that she did, inspiring others to live a life more dedicated to our communities, did not go unrecognised.

Nettleton, who ran the Ian Tarr Project, collected second-hand clothing and other necessary items to distribute to the community. Nettleton was always truly thankful for the support of the community, some of whom would donate to her cause weekly, helping the less fortunate.
Members of the Douglasdale Police Station, as well as neighbours and friends, spoke fondly of Nettleton, highlighting that she will be sorely missed from the community she strived to serve and improve.
