Multiple-vehicle collision leaves two injured
DIEPSLOOT – ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find several vehicles in the middle of the road.
Two people were left injured on 2 May following a multiple-vehicle collision on Summit Road in Diepsloot.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 7pm to find several vehicles, including a bus, in the middle of the road.
ER 24 said in a statement that one patient was found trapped inside the light motor vehicle and the other one was seen and found walking around on the scene of the collision.
Fire services and ER24 rescue paramedics had to use specialised equipment to free the trapped patient.
“Once freed, paramedics treated the two patients and thereafter transported them to nearby hospitals for further care,” read the statement.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigation.
