Fourways Lions Club welcomes new members

FOURWAYS – Laas encouraged the community to join the club and make a difference.


Fourways based non-profit organisation, Fourways Lions Club recently hosted an induction dinner event to welcome new members.

President of the club, Natalie Laas said the new members – Ishmael Kauzani and David Strauss – bring much-needed expertise to help the organisation execute responsibilities. Laas said, “The Fourways Lions Club celebrated the induction of two new members on Saturday, September 18. Fourways Lions Club now has a total of 10 members.”

She added, “The team focuses on numerous community upliftment projects within the Fourways and surrounding areas. Community services include eradicating hunger, preserving the environment and raise awareness and help those living with diabetes and paediatric cancer, amongst other things.”

Laas encouraged the residents to join and help those in need. “Lions Club is an international organisation with over 100 years of service and is one of the largest service organisation in the world.

“We encourage members of the community to join the club to extend a helping hand and make a difference in the lives of those in need.”
