Local police partner with clinic to create awareness about gender-based violence

Diepsloot police recently partnered with OR Tambo Clinic in Ext 2 to create awareness about gender-based violence and health care services at the medical facility.

“The day was to also sensitise the community about the worrying upsurge in gender-based violence cases. Pamphlets with information about forms of domestic violence and emergency numbers were distributed to community members,” said Diepsloot Police Station spokesperson Captain Tinyiko Mathebula.
