Despite a challenging and tough academic year, Dainfern College matric Class of 2021 did not disappoint as they managed to achieve a whopping 100% pass rate for the 21st year in a row.
School principal, Matthew Davies said the school had to introduce some interventions to help the learners achieve good results.

“We are delighted to announce that our Class of 2021 achieved superb results for both IEB and Cambridge A level, achieving 100% pass for both academic streams. The top students in both streams averaged in the 90s, with a full house of distinctions in the subjects written. The year 2021 was by no means an easy academic year as the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic necessitated the continuation of an adaptable academic delivery,” Davies said.

Jenna Sampson who achieved eight distinctions in accounting, Afrikaans, English, geography, life orientation, mathematics, advanced programme mathematics and physical sciences, thanked her parents and teachers for their support.

“The support I’ve received from Dainfern College family and my parents helped me overcome all challenges I faced during the past two years of Covid-19. Their support really pushed me to achieve my results,” Jenna said.
