Live Life Always members continue to keep Joburg North neighbourhoods clean
The co-founder of the organisation urged and encouraged local residents to join them on their future campaign to save the planet.
A local environmental activists and co-founder of Live Life Always non-profit organisation (LLA), Lovemore Robson, led another successful cleaning campaign in Fourways on Workers Day, May 1.
Robson said a total of 50 bags of litter were collected during a cleaning campaign around Fourways Crossing precinct.
“Ours is to keep Fourways and other Johannesburg neighbourhoods clean and neat with or without sponsors. Today, we decided to come out and do what is our passion, to clean local streets and keep this area clean.”
He urged and encouraged local residents to join them on their future campaign to save the planet.
“Future generations will have no planet to live on if we don’t do something today. The garbage and litter that people throw anywhere, anyhow, have a negative impact on our environment. Most of it ends up in our dams and oceans and causes catastrophes on our planet,”
He said “We call on the local business community and individuals to lend a helping hand through financial donations to keep helping us save the planet.”
