Nursery School learners spoilt during a special excursion for the family

Lonehill Nursery School has hosted a delightful kiddies activity day at The Braai Room in Lonehill.

The day was packed with a lot of fun things to do as the school treated families and community members who savoured delicious meals.

The school provided engaging activities such as playdough, colouring, and arts and crafts for the children to engage in.

The school’s Sarah Griffin said that the purpose of the event was to showcase the nursery school’s presence in Lonehill while fostering community bonds under the sun.

“A special mention goes to the restaurant for their generous support, allowing the use of their kiddies’ playground, to transform it into a haven for kids. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the pure joy evident on the children’s faces, accompanied by the sound of laughter echoing through the venue as they immersed themselves in the activities.”

She said the nursery school is excited and has several events coming up.

“We were eagerly waiting to participate in the Lonehill Dads and Kids Campout at the Lonehill Koppie. We will continue spreading fun and joy with our creative activities and enthusiastic/bubbly staff, further enhancing community spirit.”

When asked why they chose to host the event at the restaurant, Griffin said the community finds more than just a dining experience at The Braai Room.
