Families get together at Nova Pioneer campus

Nova Pioneer hosted a family fun day for learners to enjoy with their parents.

Family bonds are important and for those reasons, Nova Pioneer, a private school in Paulshof, hosted a family day for learners to enjoy with their families on campus.

The idea behind the event was to strengthen bonds within the school community, according to the marketing and communications officer of the school Pule Letsweni.

He said he felt proud to see learners and parents get together for a day filled with excitement and joy.

“From thrilling joy rides to engaging fun games and delectable food stalls, the family fun day offered something for everyone. Attendees enjoyed a diverse assortment of food and drinks, including mouth-watering treats and refreshing beverages. The vibrant atmosphere resonated with laughter and excitement as families bonded over shared experiences and memorable moments.”

The school’s dean of operations Amika Langerfield echoed the same sentiments while adding the event was a tremendous success.

She expressed thanks to all the enthusiastic participants from learners, parents, and staff members.

“It provided an opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate, and create lasting memories. We are grateful for the overwhelming support and positive energy that made this event truly special.”

The fun day also featured engaging activities designed to promote teamwork, creativity, and physical activity among participants. Families eagerly participated in the games and challenges which fostered the spirit of collaboration and friendly competition.

Letshweni said, “We are committed to providing a holistic education which extends beyond the classroom walls. Therefore, events like the family fun day reinforce the school’s dedication to nurturing a supportive and inclusive community where every individual can thrive.”
