Witkoppen Clinic celebrates patient care at the forefront

Witkoppen Health and Welfare Centre concludes a successful Yellow Week, strengthening patient engagement and service excellence.

Witkoppen Health and Welfare Centre proudly observed Yellow Week from July 22 to July 26, an annual event dedicated to engaging with patients and understanding their experiences at the facility.

During the week, patients participated in a comprehensive survey, providing valuable feedback on patient care, staff interactions, and overall satisfaction from the Patient Experience Care (PEC) officers and staff. The responses collected will help Witkoppen Clinic continually improve its services and maintain high standards of patient care.

The week concluded with a special closing event attended by guests, including representatives from the Department of Health. Dr Jean Basset, the clinic’s executive director, emphasised the patient-centred approach and commitment to compassionate healthcare while staff members pledged to uphold the highest standards of patient care by signing the pledge, to be hung in the clinic’s reception.

Midiaifani Mudau, the deputy director of Quality Assurance, praised Witkoppen Clinic’s dedication to Yellow Week and highlighted its importance in fostering transparency and trust in the healthcare community.
