Former Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department chief allegedly found dead at home

David Tembe, ex-JMPD chief and advisor to the MMC of Public Safety, has reportedly been found dead.

Former Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) chief David Tembe has passed away.

Tempe, according to eNCA, was found dead at his home. Circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear at this stage.

Tembe had been serving as an advisor to Johannesburg MMC for Public Safety Mgcini Tshwaku.
