Running has become an integral part of Vincent Manzere’s life, a daily ritual that clears his mind and fuels his body.
As a resident of Fourways, Manzere has found solace in the suburb’s scenic routes and trails, using his daily runs as an opportunity to connect with nature and challenge himself.
He said at first, he was mainly running for fun but later chose to do it professionally after he joined the Fourways Road Runners Club.
“Some lady saw me training and then asked if I was running for a marathon, I said no and she encouraged me to join the running club and their parkruns. I couldn’t say no because I love running.”
