After facing challenges in finding a suitable venue, the Lonehill Senior Club members rejoice as they unveil their new gathering place at Dino’s Trattoria.

The Lonehill Senior Club members are filled with joy and excitement as they unveil their new gathering place at Dino’s Trattoria, marking a significant milestone in their mission to foster community connections among seniors.

Since its inception in 2012 by founders Adele Romanis and Lorna Kurz, the club aims to break the isolation that often affects older adults, providing a warm and welcoming environment where friendships can flourish.

The club hosts monthly meetings, allowing seniors to come together for social interaction and companionship, a vital aspect of well-being.

Romanis expressed her gratitude. “Finding a new home for our club seemed daunting at first, but Paula and David’s generosity has made this transition not only possible but truly joyful.

“The support from Dino’s is a testament to the kind of community we have here in Lonehill. Now, our members can look forward to not just great food but also a great atmosphere for laughter and companionship.”

With this generosity, Lonehill Senior Club has not just found a venue, but a heartfelt home where connections can grow and isolation can fade.
