Lonehill Association postpones dads & kids campout due to heavy rainfall
The dads and kids campout, hosted by the Lonehill Residents Association, has had to be postponed from March 15–16 to March 29–30, due to weather. For a magical evening of bonding, adventure, and fun join the association on the stunning Lonehill Koppie.

Due to heavy rainfall, the Lonehill Residents Association decided to postpone the highly anticipated 16th annual dads & kids campout, which was set for March 15 and 16, at Lonehill Koppie.
The event, originally the idea of the association’s estate, has evolved from a modest gathering of a few fathers and their children on the banks of the Jukskei River, into a highly anticipated annual affair, attracting families from across the region.
The campout will now take place on the last weekend of the month, March 29 and 30.

“The programme, plans, and all event details will remain unchanged, ensuring a fantastic experience for attendees. Unfortunately, some campers who had originally booked for the previous weekend are unable to join us on the new dates, which means there are now a few available spots for those who were previously turned away due to full capacity,’ said Shelly Miller, of the association.
The association assured the residents that: ‘There is no Wi-Fi at the Koppie, but you will never find better connections’.
