Grade 6 Crawford International Lonehill Preparatory learners celebrate their moms

Crawford International Lonehill Preparatory's Grade 6 learners took time to celebrate the invaluable role that mothers play in shaping their lives.

May 11 marked a special day for someone who embodies love, care, and selflessness – the mother figure. Mom is more than just a title; she’s a guiding light, a comforting presence, and a source of unwavering support.

That is why Crawford International Lonehill Preparatory learners took time to recognise the invaluable role that mothers play in shaping their lives.

It was on a beautiful morning filled with love and laughter, when the Grade 6 learners hosted a heartwarming Mother’s Day tea to celebrate the incredible women in their lives.

The event began with a touching address from deputy principal Mkhululi Moyo, who warmly welcomed the mothers and expressed gratitude for all they do.

He then introduced the Grade 6 pupils, who took to the stage and performed a moving rendition of I Will Follow Him from Sister Act – with a special twist. The lyrics were changed to: I Will Follow Mom, and their sweet voices brought tears of joy to many eyes in the hall.
