Cedar Lakes Lifestyle Estate raises over R22 000 for wildlife conservation at fundraising dinner
Cedar Lakes Lifestyle Estate residents raised the money to support the Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital, helping rescue, treat, and rehabilitate injured and orphaned wildlife.
The spirit of giving back and supporting meaningful causes was apparent at Cedar Lakes Lifestyle Estate on September 11, when residents and guests gathered for a special fundraising dinner in support of the Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital.
The evening celebrated a shared commitment to wildlife conservation and the care of South Africa’s indigenous species.

Anesca Price, the estate’s communications controller, reflected on the event.
“We are thrilled with the support from our residents and sponsors. It’s inspiring to see our community come together for a cause that benefits both wildlife and the environment we share.”

Price expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital for their guidance and support in the estate’s ongoing programme aimed at building a sustainable, ecologically rich environment.
The initiative focuses on promoting biodiversity, while enhancing the lifestyle experience of residents, creating a space where nature and community thrive together.
Price thanked the generosity of sponsors, including Michael Oberholtzer, Paint Emporium and Hardware, Life Landscapes, Fidelity Security Services, and Whole Earth Recycling, as well as the contributions of residents, which resulted in a total of R22 550 being raised and officially handed over to the hospital.
