Creatives get their moment as Art at the Manor returns in Fourways
The annual event continues to be a reason why the Norscot Manor is looking beautiful as ever while opening doors for local artists and creatives.
Art at The Manor, an art exhibition hosted by the Fourways Main Reef Rotary Club, is back, and this time, it is not only bigger than before but also has space for more artists and creatives to showcase their work.
The annual event, set for July 25 and 26 at the Secret Tea Garden at Norscot Manor, marks its fifth year of using art as a tool to support the upkeep of the historic site in Fourways.

Organised by the Rotary Club, the initiative combines an open exhibition with a market, while also inviting new and emerging talent to take part this year.
Beate Schulte-Brader, a dedicated member of the club, said that for artists and creatives looking for a platform, there is still room to get involved with their professional work.
“We are here today to invite everyone to our upcoming Art at the Manor. For the past four years, we’ve brought together an open art exhibition and market to help support the upkeep of our heritage site.”
This year introduces a shift in format. She said previous editions were split between indoor exhibitions and outdoor stalls, but they have opted for a more integrated, outdoor setup.
“With the support of the owner of the Secret Tea Garden, we were offered the venue free of charge for two days. This allows us to host the event on these beautiful premises, with artists exhibiting under a large tent, making it a fully outdoor experience.”

The event will also feature a school art exhibition, with 10 schools already confirmed, alongside market vendors and live performances.
Schulte-Brader said the aim is to make the event more accessible, particularly for families. “It’s really going to be more of a family event.”
While the format is evolving, the focus remains on showcasing quality work. The exhibition will be curated and include artists with years of experience, while also creating opportunities for others to exhibit.
Proceeds from the event will go towards maintaining Norscot Manor, which continues to require ongoing upkeep as a community facility.
