Dis-Chem Ride for Sight needs Heidelbergers to assist organiser

The cycle race will pass through Heidelberg and a water table convener and helpers are needed.

The 28th Dis-Chem Ride for Sight is passing through Heidelberg on February 14. The ride enters the town on the R42 (Vereeniging Road) and leaves Heidelberg on the R23 (Benoni Road).
There will be a water table for participants on this section and the race organisers, Retina South Africa is looking for a water table convener.
“This is an ideal team building and marketing opportunity for a company, school or community group,” said Claudette Medefindt (race secretary).
The group also has the opportunity of assisting in the cause of fighting blindness. All they need is a team leader, 10 willing helpers, some music and plenty of spirit.
