Eyethu Badminton Development Club played host to a Badminton tournament which was organised by the Eastern Gauteng Badminton Association and the City of Ekurhuleni at the Duduza Multi-Purpose Centre on June 9.
Around 80 learners from different schools on the East Rand participated in the tournament. The aim of the event was to attract as many primary and secondary school learners possible to become more active and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
A number of local companies also contributed towards the success of the event and organisers thanked all the stakeholders for their involvement.
