Lesedi Local Municipality mayor Mluleki Nkosi commemorated the month by showing appreciation to all the women and men who put their lives at risk daily as firefighters by awarding them medals of bravery.
“We salute our firefighters for their dedication and commitment every day,” Nkosi said.
